Hi,
at the old design , the ICONS are colored i.e. green and red.

That may be sometimes helpful, to work quicker.

Is there a possibility to switch to old design/layout of previous version?

Thanks
Peter

There is currently no option to revert to the old icon style.

I wonder what it would be like: NEW Feature: you can go back to the old style/layout :))

Colors like green or red have a meaningful information.
That helps, to use a tool like PL/SQL-Developer much faster.

+1 to old icons. New ones are almost identical. Basically useless.

+1, a lot of users complain about new interface from v15. i prefere staying on v14, more usable.

+1 again.
I am also on V14, because of better UI. And instead of my realized wishes in V15 ... frown

I hate skinning in any application.
On my home PC, I have Win11, and for example Office 2007 smile Office tries to skin itself, but of course it is a 15 year old rounded blue design. Does not look bad, but look strange on a W11 PC.
Steam client also, has a diffent design. And so on..

For work, I have a W10 PC, with Office 365. The opposite. It tries the rounded corners, and everything, which is W11 specific. And the PL/SQL Developrer has an other skin.

For me the main problem with skinning, is the active window title color. Since Windows 3, the active window title is colored (blue, yellow, anything, you want), but the inactive window caption is something greyed.
With the applications being skinned, it does not work.
Which one is the screenshot, where yout tell me, which window is active? When I start typing, where is goes?

Hi, I've just installed PL/SQL Developer version 15.

I second this thread: please, add colors to the icons!

Just an example: try to open the "Triggers" section: how can you immediately see if a trigger is enabled or disabled?
You can't, it's an imperceptible different shade of gray, on a gray background.
Come on... a yellow thunder instead of a gray one would really help.

Please bring back the colors and icons that were in PLSD version 14. Version 15 is blah grey, the > icons are too big. Need the colors and icons!

Make this a preference setting perhaps.

I don't care if this is the new "web standard", it's not very user-friendly.

Just saying.

Despite having a license for version 15 I still use 14, want to guess why?
