I've used PSD's Template functionality for a long time now and it's works okay for me.
I recently installed the Pieces snippet capture/management app (https://code.pieces.app/) and find it very efficient for saving, then searching and re-using code snippets. It's free for individual, basic use.

A number of products similar to PSD have plug-ins that let you access Pieces from your code window (e.g. UltraEdit, VS Code, etc.), which is incredibly slick.

I'm hoping some enterprising developer has created a plug-in for Pieces?

If so, could you please share?
