Hi,
I am using the "multi-rows tab" configuration on rel. 15.02, with many, many tabs open across multiple rows.
When I select a tab on a row other than the bottom row, all tabs in the row move to the bottom row.
Is it possible to make sure that the rows of tabs remain fixed in their original position, even when a tab was selected, as on an old release (maybe 9.04)?
If not, it will be possible in a future release?

Thanks
Unfortunately this is how standard tab controls behave. The active tab visually has to be on the bottom row. Perhaps we can add an option to use a button style tab control. In this case all tabs are visually buttons, so that the button tab lines can stay in place when buttons from different lines are active.

I have added this to the list of enhancement requests.
I work with a small group that spends all day in PL/SQL Developer. I normally have *many* open tabs. The jumping around of the tabs when changing the 'active' document is disorienting. Each time I change to a different window, I have to search for the last document I was editing. The perfect solution for me would be manually setting the tab order (manual tab order configuration?) . Another configuration option would be to just keep tabs in opened order (opened doc tab order configuration ?).
Something, *anything* to control the tab order so that it does not appear almost chaotic. Thanks
The only solution in the current version is to use single row tabs.
or the window list instead of tabs? I suppose I also like the window list more because it saves vertical space on my wide screen monitor... And indeed I have control over the order of the tabs, with desktop saving and projects even across sessions.
