Is there any way to control the font that is used when the Copy to Excel option is used to dump data to an excel file? I have set the Excel default for new worksheets but the Excel files created by PL/SQL Developer are all created with Calibri font which I find hard to read. I used version 9.06.

Thanks
The Excel sheet is created with grid font. You can go to Tools > Preferences > Fonts and change the grid font accordingly.

Sorry, mine doesn't work like that. I double checked that the font was set to Verdana in the preferences but when I copy the data to excel it is formatted with Calibri Font. I am using version 10.0.3 now.
I tested this, and with xls export it shows up as Verdana and with xlsx export it shows up as Calibri. We'll fix it.
Sorry to resurrect this one but was it ever resolved? If Yes, How?

Using version 11.05
In the 32 bit version:

Copy as XLS will use the grid font as defined in the preferences.
Copy as XLSX will use Calibri.

In the 64 bit version:

Copy as XLS will use the grid font as defined in the preferences.
Copy as XLSX will use the grid font as defined in the preferences.

Hi Marco,

I would like to have the default font for Excel files separate from the grid font.
Can you add that to the list of enhancements?
