Hopefully in the next patch documentation will reflect
that as well.
Regex option has been defined in Search and Replace for a long time - perhaps since version 6.0 .
Maybe you could get in cooperation with TextPad and reuse their modules - I've "regexed" files with millions of record using TextPad.
