Sounding like an idiot by repeating myself 100 times I would still very much like to have some sort of respons to the issue of the missing methods on the TOracleSession component.
Please, please respond!!
My apologies, I somehow missed your original topic. We'll look into this and I will report back here.
Hi Marco,
Any update on this? We are also waiting for a response (along with several others as we can see).
Best Regards
Kashi
Hi Marco,
Unusual for you not to reply?
We are unable to move forward with our projects - please let us know status at the earliest. Thanks.

We have not yet been able to reproduce this? Can you let me know your exact Delphi or C++Builder version?
Hi Marco,
Thanks for responding. Well, the issue is the same as what others have reported earlier - which is ApplyUpdates and CancelUpdates methods are missing from the TOracleSession component. Please note these methods are missing for the 64 bit platform.
Environment :
Delphi RAD Studio 10.1 Berlin Professional
DOA 4.1.3

Kashi
It worked fine in Delphi 10.1 as well, until I removed the source option. It turns out that the distributed 64 bit Oracle.dcu unit either does not include these methods, or that the Delphi linker does not find them. We'll investigate this.
In the mean time, if you have the source option then the simple work-around is to add the source directory to the Delphi search path.
Hi Marco,
I am glad that you were able to locate the possible source of error. We do not have the source option. Can you please let us know when the fixed dcu files will be available?
Best Regards
Kashi
I will let you know when we have a solution.
Hi Marco,
Thanks. We look forward to a quick solution.
You can download a fix here:
Let me know if this fixes the issue.
Hi Marco,
very happy that you've found a solution.
I asked for it too several months ago, but isn't possible to have it fixed also for DXE4?
Thanks in advance
We'll have a fix for older versions shortly.
Hi Marco,
Thanks - I can see the missing methods. I had some trouble installing but it is likely my problem.
Please Marco,
remember the fix for older versions...
We need it!
Hi Marco,
what about the fix for DXE4?
Could you please estimate a date?
Thanks in advance.
We'll have an XE4 patch available this week.
For Delphi XE4 you can download a fix here:
Thank you Marco.
At the end we've tried it, it seems to work.
Very very thanks!
A huge thanks to Kashi that was able to push the matter in the right way!
