xml encoding error in Large Data Editor

Hello,
I'm running NT4, PL/SQL Developer 6.
When I open the Large Data Editor on a clob column that contains XML I get this error:

Error: Switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported.

The first line in my xml document says that the xml version is 1.0 and the encoding is ISO-8859-1.

How can I fix this?
