Wish List - some dialogs

Being as screens are getting larger and larger, and that I am way lazy, I would like it if dialogs like Commit and Rollback (and others that don't come to mind right now) would move the cursor into the dialog and equidistant from all the buttons when the dialog displays. Otherwise, for the two buttons mentioned, I have to move the mouse 1/3 of the screen or take my focus off the screen and press a key.

This isn't exactly what you said, but pretty close so thought I would share in case it helps and you didn't know about it.

Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Mouse, select the Motion Tab and select "Snap to Default". This will put your mouse on the "OK", or "Yes" buttons on the dialog boxes when they appear and it works for all Windows apps including PL/SQL Developer.

I think it depends on the mouse driver, and possibly it doesn't work like that for yours, but might be worth looking. My driver is for a Logitech mouse - I don't know if you can switch the driver to try different ones or not.

Anyway, I like this feature quite a bit, so if PL/SQL Developer could position the mouse to the default button or something regardless of the mouse driver, I'm all for it also.

Hi Scott,

How far away do you keep your keyboard?

Tools->Preferences->KeyConfiguration.

Best regards, Mark.

It isn't the distance (they are right next to each other) it is having to change focus to orient the hand to the keyboard and then back to the mouse.

PLSD makes things so easy that little things like this stand out.

BTW, how would the Key Config help me on this?
