Windows 7 64bit: very slow performance

Hello!

I am using Pdev Version 8.0.4.1514 on a PC with Windows 7 64bit and the Oracle client 11.2.0 (32bit).

The performance of the Pdev is very poor while navigating and working in a programm window or after executing a sql-statement.
It is even very slow when only searching for a string in a program and stepping through the results via CTRL+L.

Is there any option I have to change?

THX!

I have no speedproblem with Win7 64bit and developer 8.0.4.1514, but I am using OraClient 10.2

But I have very annoying problems with recreating position and size of PL/SQLdev window. Allways starts up very small in the upper left corner.

I don't have any Plugins activated. I even reinstalled PL/SQL-Developer and tried with a "fresh" installation.

Same problem...

As a test, can you deactivate the Code Assistant and try again? Go to Tools > Preferences > Code Assistant and disable the "Automatically Activated" option to do so.

I think I have it!

I just set my BIOS to defaults.
Now it works fine. Unfortunately i can't tell, which option was wrong...
