(As this is my first post, can I add my congratulations on making an excellent product - I'm not sure what I'd do without it. Oh yes, I remember - SQL*plus and 'show errors' :-o )
To report an anomaly I have experienced with version 5.1[.3.704]: Whenever Developer performs a 'background' recovery save it appears to continually redraw the window list; effectively disabling input for the entire duration. On my system this takes 10-40s, though obviously the more windows open and the longer in between saves the longer time it takes.
Is buffering user events a deliberate action - to prevent updates during the recovery save, or not? The GUI update seems a bit odd.
It can get annoying when you are on-a-roll with some inspiring script hacking; though at less productive times does serve as as sort of 'time to get some coffee / tea and stop staring at the screen' reminder!
Its not so bad now I have realised why the application locks up peridocially, even when the network is quiet!
Have also noticed that the window list redraws itself whenever the 9th or later window is selected (off the first page) causing a slight delay.
Is this at all linked?
Thanks
Michael

OS - Win 2k
Oracle - 8i (remote)

Num concurrent windows open - 10 to 30, mostly Test windows.
