Window List Coloring

My window list is grey. The only difference between the active window and any other window is that it sort of looks depressed. Is there a way to give the active entry in the window list a different color? A plug-in maybe? Preference setting?

This is currently not possible. It is on the list of enhancement requests though.

could it be possible to use the same color as defined in Connection Indicators?
