what is an 'open section x failed' msg about?

We think that we are having LAN issues. It might help to know what this error is about (they came up during a compile).

We also get similar issues when opening a package for editing.

This indicates a problem with the user registry. Perhaps the user registry is corrupt? Speifically hkey_current_user\software\allround automations.
