Weird behaviour: Window List

Win 7

I wanted to close a group of windows (Test Windows if it makes a difference) and I thought I would see if it was possible to select them all and just do one Close. I clicked on the last displayed Window in the list, then did a shift-left click on the top window of the group (imagine 5 open windows in the Window List list, I first clicked on the 5th window in the list and then shift-clicked on the 3rd window from the top of the list).

Guess what happened - I will wait for all who want to participate.

OK, so, did anyone guess that one of the windows closed? And it kept happening each time I tried it. I realize now that I should have kept track to see if this was closing Windows from the top down or bottom up, but I didn't.

Odd, very odd.

I just recreated and it is the top window being closed (that is, the window list entry that I shift click on).

And, it whatever Window List entry I shift click on, that is the Window that is closed.

Shift+click or Ctrl+click in Window List closes window you've clicked on.
It's in the manual.

I agree tho, that this behaviuor is not in line with windows UI concept and other parts of PLD where ctrl/shift+click is multiselect.

I could have sworn that "shift-click closes the tab" was a thing that web browsers started to do, but now I can't reproduce that anywhere other than in Opera.

What does appear to be a thing everywhere (including Notepad++ and Sublime) is "middle click closes the tab". Perhaps PL/SQL Developer should switch to that behavior.
