Vista Still showing old icon

Ok complete bafflement. I upgraded to 7.0 and 7.1 and when I add PSD to the quick launch bar it keeps
displaying the old green icon. I tried uninstalling, deleting all PSD references in the registry etc.
After I do a clean install it shows even in the program menu the old green icon. The short cut on the destop displays the new icon, but as soon as you copy/add it to the launchbar it turns in to the green icon again. SIGH SIGH

The new plsqldev.exe does no longer include the old icon, so it must come from elsewhere.

Windows has an Icon cache, so maybe it is fixed after a reboot (when the cache is rebuilt).

If this does not help, let me know if you are also still using 7.0 or earlier.

On my XP machine I see the same behaviour. I am only using the latest version, but i have upgraded from previous versions.

And I have rebooted already many times...

What happens if you rename plsqldev.exe to (for example) plsqldev711.exe, and modify your shortcut(s) accordingly?

I had this problem on the QuickLaunch taskbar. In my case it was fixed by right-clicking on the PSD icon to get the Properties menu and then using the 'Change Icon' function.
