I just heard from the guy who 'was' the contact rep on the buy, but he says that the contracts people are now the contact, so finding out when 7 is available will be delayed for us.

Looking back at v6, I guess beta will be a trial version.

As for getting production version 7, well I'll have the same issues as you are.

You can download the 7.0 beta here , if your license entitles you to 7.0 (otherwise a service contract purchase is required).

In the "New features description" PDF, every odd page is labeled "PL/SQL Developer 6.0 New Features".

The even pages use "7.0".

(Does finding this get me a license to try out this beta? Our 6.0 service contract expired in September and I wanna play! )
