Ok, I know this stinks as a bug report, but my browser keeps having it's contents removed. Allow me to explain. I have the browser docked, and I can see all sorts of folders. Then all of a sudden, all the folders in the browser are gone, and nothing I do can get them back, short of re-launching PLSD. It's not like it happens every 5 minutes or anything...but I don't know what I do that triggers it. The only clue I can give you is that it might be related to having my sessions killed as a result of a db bounce. But I can't easily verify that fact.

Maybe somebody else has seen this behavior?

To obtain some more diagnostic information, can you modify the shortcut and add the debugsql parameter? For example:

"C:\Program Files\PLSQL Developer\plsqldev.exe" debugsql

Reproduce the problem and send me the debug.txt file that is generated in the PL/SQL Developer directory.
