v.11.0.4.1774 don't work with SYS.XMLTYPE

Hi,
if I try to select the value of a column(SYS.XMLTYPE) the pl/sql Developer hangs all the time.
I have to kill the session.

It's a very old and blatantly ignored bug. Just search for XMLTYPE in this forum. AFAIR, one workaround is using an old Oracle Net client.

It's the problem of the file oci.dll.
It would work well by using the Oracle client 11.1.0.7.0,

You're a bit late: after many years of our nagging, AA fixed this bug (while dropping the built-in XML viewer).
