in the past i used the doa with delphi 4. For all TField objects i used the attributs of the dictionary (the dictionary you can see in the Delphi SQL-Explorer). No problems with delphi 4. Now i upgraded to Delphi 5. After that the attributes of the dictionary were no longer available in the context menu of the fields in the field editor. This meens that i have to reenter all attributes (Displayname, display format etc.) every time i need a new data set..
