Use of DevArt Connection

I have installed DevArt Oracle Connect on my client.
I don't like to install the original Oracle Client from Oracle.

DevArt is using a Direct connection to the Oracle-Server, so the oracle client is not needed.

Does PL/SQL 10 also support direct connections or direct connections based on DevArt?

PL/SQL Developer requires either an Oracle Instant Client or a full Oracle Client installation.
