I reported problem in the v8.0 beta, and it was corrected for v8.0.0.1480. The problem is back in v8.0.1.1498. When the cursor is moved away from the docking area (including when clicking on the main window area), it does not retract consistently. Most times it will not retract at all.

This is indeed a known issue that will hopefully be fixed shortly.
