Typing XMLTYPE. into SQL Window hangs PL/SQL Developer

Hi,

when I type "xmltype." (without quotes) into a fresh SQL window, my PL/SQL Developer Version 8.0.3.1510 crashes.

Any help appreciated.

I am not sure if it is of relevance, but I use Windows 7.

Is this still an issue with the current 9.0.6 version?

Same issue, Windows7, PLD versions 7.1 and 10.

Update: error occurs due Oracle 64bit client. Fixed by installing 32-bit client.

Unlikely, as PSD can't use 64 bit OCI at all.
