Transferring connections with passwords

Is it possible to export connections with passwords from my old computer and import on my new one?

(I have 23 connections...)

(The only suggestions I found in the forums refer to menu options that do not exist.)

(Searching the forums retrieves 8 pages of 200 posts (first pages did not help.)

Which PL/SQL Dev. version are you using?

As far as I can remember you can export and import the connections in the more recent versions (11 and 12). Just use the connection definition dialog and use the export and import connections buttons in this dialog.

Sorry to reopen this topic,
I'm using Version 11.0.6.1776 and can't find in the export/import window possibility to export the passwords ( there is only Colors,Fonts,Oracle Settings, Files&Directories, Editor, Key Config).

I'm using the latest version 13, but the Connections definition screen is available in version 11 - in 13 you access it via Configure\Connections but in 11 I think it's on the Tools menu.
Anyway, once you get the Connections definition screen up, click on the Export button near the bottom right of the window (hover over it to see the Export Definitions tooltip) to export your Connections and enter a file name and location. If you saved the passwords in your connections then they will be hashed and included in the export file. They should then work when you use the button below the Export button on your new PC to Import the connections from the file you exported to.
