Settings: User Interface -> Appearance -> Connection Indicators

[x] left aligned
If I un-maximize and re-maximize a SQL window, the connection indicator is to the right of the pl/sql developer icon. However when I switch SQL windows it jumps position to the left of the pl/sql developer icon.
And when I open a new window I can watch it go through all 3 stages: open un-maximized, automatically maximize (due to saved layout), indicator on the right, indicator on the left.
