tnsnames not being recognized

i recently had my Oracle Developer suite upgraded from 9i to 10g and since that time PL/SQL developer does not recognize my tnsnames and I do not get all the available instances displayed. the tnsnames is okay because I can get th any of the instances using Oracle developer. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

but, if you just type in the information in the logon box does it work?

we started using a 'master' tnsnames file and pointing to it in each of the product tnsnames.ora files ("IFILE="C:\progra~1\oracle\tnsnames\tnsnames_master.ora"") and the logon box no longer autofills the database for me - I am assuming that PLSD does not handle the IFILE.
