tns could not resolved

Hi,

This is makarand,i have installed oracle 10g server on my system, there is no client with it.
I have plsql developer v 6.0.4.906, i want to connect the oracle 10g database server through pl/sql develper.

But is giving me error while login TNS could not resolve.
Can i connect to database to plsql without using TNS as my local system tns is not working.

Please i hve tried almost everything.

You will need a properly configured Oracle Client installation.
