Test window - format for date parameter

In what format do I enter a date input parameter in Test window. I tried sysdate, and to_date('18/01/2011','dd/mm/yyyy') but it doesn't work.

By default dates should be entered in the Windows Date Format as defined in the Regional Settings of the Windows Control Panel. The format can be overruled in the preferences.

Use the date picker, and make a note of the format it uses.
