Tab issue turns put to be really annoying

Hi Marco,

A small issue, but one I find to be very annoying, as it hapens to me numerous times a day.

Perhaps you have enabled the "Smart Tab" preference? In that case the editor will look at the previous line to determine the next tab position.

Go to Tools > Preferences > Editor to disable this option.

Hi Marco,

Nope. None of the Indent, or Tab & Wrapping check boxes are checked. A simple new window, typing SELECT, and then enter, and then a tab gives me 2 spaces instead of the set 3 spaces for a tab.

I can indeed reproduce this. It seems to fail only for the first tab on the line, and only on the 2nd line, and only if there is no text after the tab. Can you confirm this, or are there other cases?

I cannot reproduce it anywhere else. But as I create new SQl windows multiple times on a daily basis, I hit it every single time.

Glad you can reproduce it though...

BTW, I think it shoudl be said every now and then: Your patience with all of us is admirable. Regardless whether "it is your job".
