For your information we have encountered this bug and error message using PLSQL DEV v8:

"An attempt has been made to operate on an impersonation token by a thread that is not currently impersonating a client".

Cracking error message!

plsqldev.elf file emailed seperately.

That is indeed a nice message. Unfortunately the .elf file does not contain any information. Is this problem reproducible?
