Suppressing Schema qualifier from object listing

The Schema Qualifiers should all be nodes under each browser folder like "Tables" and "Functions". Objects should be listed as child nodes under each schema node.

So when objects are listed, we could press the key corresponding to the first letter in the object name and reach the object.

Scrolling and locating objects in the browser tree with schemas that have 100s of objects is the most painful thing. A power tool should work for all features - every nook and corner- without the use of a mouse.

Hi,
I had requested this 3 years back. Now that we have ability to filter objects by schema owner, still in the object browser all object names are prefixed by the owner. It does navigate via a keypress , i.e if I press the first letter of schema owner , it does recognize that , and keeps navigating down from the top one by one as all objects begin with the same letter , since the owner is common. Given that I have filtered using the owner , there is no need to display the owner prefix - not sure if there is any option to suppress that. That should allow the tree to provide locating an object using the first letter of the object name.

Any thoughts?

I second this request big time. It is unnecessary to display the schema name when I am already filtering by schema. It should be just like when you expand the Users folder, but I don't like to use that route because there is too many clicks. I hope this is changed in version 9.
