Support for Oracle 10g

Doesn't DOA support 10g ?
I was under the impression that Oracle Net was almost unchanged since 9i, but trying to connect raises an Initialization error: SQL *Net not properly installed

Last minute info:
Adding reg-key ORACLE_HOME in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE makes connection possible, allthough it takes some time to connect.
Perhaps the question now should be: Is it safe to use DOA on Oracle 10g ?

For Oracle10g client compatibility you will need Direct Oracle Access 4.0.5. Note that the Oracle10g Instant Client will be supported in the upcoming 4.0.6 release.

Hi,

We use Oracle10g instant client with DOA 3.4.5 and everything works fine (well ok, but with Oracle 9i database ).
