When we search, you mark all the matches, which is nice.
The current one has a slightly different color, but the contrast is too low.
I only see that there is a difference when the matches are next to each other.
When replacing one by one, I have to Find Next, Replace, Find Next, Replace, ...
In PL/SQL Developer, Replace also does a Find Next. I think that is the more conventional way of doing it. Alternatively have a "Replace Next" button,
Not sure what I think about having separate Find and Find Next buttons.
Find searches and then closes the dialog.
If I hit this by mistake, I have to reopen the dialog and set up the search/replace fields again.
I think I would prefer there to be just one "Find" button, and it should leave the dialog open. It is easier to close an unwanted dialog with Escape than reset the search/replace fields.
I have to search before I'm allowed to Replace All. That is unconventional, but potentially nice. Only issue is that when I used the dialog for the first time, I assumed the replace function was broken.. Possibly, the Replace All should be available from the start, and do a "Find" if necessary
When doing Replace All, there is no option to replace from cursor. If I want that, I will have to mark the text to the end, and remember to tick 'Selection' in the dialog.
I suggest the "Range" selection should have a "From Cursor" option, like "Scope" has in pl/sql developer.
Also, when there is a selection, the "Range" should be defaulted to "Selection"
