Stopping a Query

My apologies if this seems obvious but I've searched the documentation quite a bit and found nothing.

Is there a way to stop/kill/cancel a query thats running too long?

The break button looks like a lightning bolt on the toolbar. I believe that Shift+Esc is the default shortcut.

I have version 6.0.5. This version talks about the break button on page 31 of the manual. If you look on page 7 of the manual, you can see it on the second toolbar down, 3rd icon in.

Funny, I was just coming here to apologize for my stupidity (having just found the break command). I must have gotten single minded for my search and only looked for the words stop and kill...
