Split package upon save?

Is it possible to automatically split a package into a pks- and a pkb-file upon save?

No, this is not possible. A Program Window will always save its contents to one file.

There's a plug-in called "Save Separate" from "BAR Solutions" that does that (on demand - default save option will still do single file save). It does that apparently by opening separate program windows for header and body, doing save operation and closing them back.
