If you use a special character in your password for instance the @ symbol you can login to the database through pl/sql developer just fine. However once you are logged in the Log-In Drop down, using the key icon, displays the portion of your password after the login name in the history of databases connected to.
So now if by chance someone was at my desk they could see the majority of my password in plain text.
Can it be looked into the correct this so the password does not show in plain text even when special characters are used?
