Sort recent connections

Hi,

Is there a way to sort the entries under the recent folder in the connections window?

Also, is there an option to have the folders expanded by default?

The recent connections folder will show the most recently used connections first.

If you have the "Autosave Desktop" preference enabled, then the folder state (expanded/collapsed) will be saved and restored automatically.

Is there a possibility of getting a sort added to the recent connections? we have over 300 databases here and trying to maintain a list that long is really hard.

also ... trying to look through the list ordered by date takes a long time, especially when you are looking for a connection you have not made. ordering it by @database then user would be really useful.

If you have 300 databases then my advice would be to explicitly define connection folders and connections. You can logically group the connections to make them easier to find.

Go to Tools > Define Connections to do so.
