When editing large files (>5000 lines), Find & Replace takes a very long time to complete compared to other editors (UltraEdit, Emacs etc.). In fact, I have found only Notepad (!) to be equally slow.
Can this be improved (for instance by having a 'raw' mode, where the text is not parsed, as opposed having selected e.g. "Search in: Comments")?
Another thing: you can not press Ctrl-Z and have all your Find & Replace undone, only the last 1000 can be restored. This is catastrophic in cases where you for instance have replaced the wrong text and wants to start over again with the replace. In this case you have to close the file without saving and thereby maybe discarding your other changes. Maybe PLD could issue a warning when the 1000 undo buffer limit has been reached to tell the user that from now on, not all changes can be reversed back to square one. (famous last words: "Nobody will ever want to undo more than a 1000 changes" :/ )
