Silent install and uninstall

Hello,

I have problems with software installation and uninstallation.

1. I would like to deploy PL/SQL Developer by MS SMS 2003. Silent install worked perfectly, but it didn't create program folders when i used SMS. (In singel user mode, it can do this folders). Does it use DDE under installation method?

2. How can i uninstall it silently?
(I've tried it with aaremove.exe, but it wasn't silent.)

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Can you elaborate?

There is currently no option for this. I have added it to the list of enhancement requests.

The only "silent uninstall" option is currently to delete the PL/SQL Developer directory and clear the corresponding registry sections.

DDE = Dynamic Data Exchange
(for examle: Total Commander uses DDE under installation to create Program folder, but SMS doesn't support DDE)

I also have problems with silent uninstall.
I'm working with multiple versions in my environment. And I use MS SCCM to install and remove.
Any news about?

The upcoming version 12 can be silently installed and uninstalled through a standard MSI package.
