It would be useful to be able to apply filters to the main query in the session browser, without having to maintain multiple versions of the same query. For example, I have 'My client sessions', 'My Oracle user', 'Active and blocking sessions' and 'All sessions', which are all the same except for slightly different WHERE clauses. This becomes even harder to manage on sites where there are different Oracle versions. I wonder whether we could define our own filters similar to the object browser or session 'details' tab i.e. using bind variables automatically generated from the main query. Or perhaps PL/SQL Developer could just provide some standard drop-down lists for Oracle user, OS user, session status etc. (Or somehow include an Excel-style filter in each column heading.)
