Searching through files

I didn't see any mention of the search on the product description. I know that as of version 8.0.4 search was still limited to just those files already open in the editor.

My question, has the search feature been upgraded in either 9 or 10 (or planned for for a future version) so that I can search through files on disk? Ala Notepad++.

There is currently no function to search in files on disk. This is on the list of enhancement requests though.
