Running under opensuse/wine

Hi,

installed PSD w/o problems in a wine env, and then? To connect to (remote) db's I have to install ORA instant client, that's right? After downloading and installing it into a subdir to "programs", I adjusted "PATH" in "system.reg". Running PSD it again got stuck at "Logging on...".

Any hints?

You can install an Instant Client or a full client.

Does SQL*Plus work correctly?

Because of lacking experience, my way of installing it was o.k.? Regarding sql*plus, how to check that with a remote DB?

O.k., got it: sqlplus works! But PSD still does not.

Button pressed too fast: How should PSD know anything about the correct parameters for my remote connection without an ORACLE_HOME? Any way to tell to PSD on the command line?
