Is it possible to enhance that alternate line of the result set can be different?

Then it will be easier to go through the result set.

Is the request to be able to add something (special chars, color, etc) in the queue for each cell of the result grid?

We occasionally beat our heads against data problems where there are trailing spaces.

No, only the background color will be different for alternate lines.
