resize window in SDI mode

I usually use the single document interface without tabs for Windows. After I clicked on the "Resize" icon of a window, a line with window tabs appeared above the window area. The menu item "Single Document" is still checked. Trying to turn off "Single Document" results in sliders being provided for the entire area in which the windows are displayed, which I can currently only eliminate if "Single Document" is turned back on. Then the line with the window tabs is visible again above the windows area. v15.0.4 does not have this behavior.

Can you send me a screenshot of these 2 situations? Both the resize icon and the line?

I can't restore the initial state (SDI without tab bar) because I don't know how to make the tab bar disappear in SDI mode.

Picture 2009242 shows that the tool is in SDI mode, but the tab bar is still visible.

Figure 2009244 shows the state that results when the button of the drop down box has been clicked in the tab bar.
(It is interesting that the menu item "Singe Document" is then displayed checked again. However, this changes if you click at least once outside the PLSD window, e.g. on the desktop.

I'm having this same issue. In PL/SQL Dev 15, the tab bar did not appear when in SDI Mode, but in PL/SQL Dev 16, a tab bar is appearing and can not be removed/hidden while in SDI Mode.
