Request for general open file dialog

Hello,
currently there are 5 menu items in File/Open menu one for each type of window (SQL, Test...). Would it be possible to add general "Open file" option which would open a test window, sql window.... based on the extension (as defined in Preferences/Extensions) of the file being opened?
E.g. if I select x.sql it will open SQL script window and for x.tst it will open test window.

I have added this to the list of enhancement requests. Drag & drop already performs this funtion.

but only if you define different extensions for different types ;-)

i have for Scripts + Packages the extension .sql so if i drag & drop in PL/SQL i have a command window with my Package...

But thanks to 6.0.3 i can switch the window to a program window...
