Renewals

Our lic expires at the end of the month. Money can't be spent until Oct 1st (which means the paperwork to spend it can't be turned in until then either).

So, is there a grace period built in (how long), or do we go into shock having to use sqlplus and notepad for however long it takes to get you the money?

I guess we wouldn't have to use notepad, there is always the dumb cuz'n of plsd, SQL Developer.

The license does not really expire, just the annual service contract (which entitles you to technical support and upgrades). You can renew it later, no problem.

No need to resort to notepad :) .

Perish the thought!!! :-)

My productivity would drop by 60% if I had to code in Notepad, and by 40% if I could only use a powerful text editor like UltraEdit. PSD was a huge productivity boost for me!
