Renew of license

Recently, I was requested to renew my PL/SQL Developer license.

I'm a little embarrassed that there is still no support for essential Oracle features such as local (partitioned) indexes, subpartitioning etc.

Actually, I didn't notice a big improvement in PLSD over the last year, so I'm reluctant to pay. I would like to know what others think about the recent (non-)development.

PL/SQL Developer 7.0.3 has improved my experience with PL/SQL Developer. My biggest concerns where with the support for complex types like Oracle Spatial type. It was fixed.
What I don't like with the direction of PL/SQL Developer development is a lack of transparency.
The same requests can be repeated for years but in a new version would be implemented some feature that no so many people want and ever use in its current state (diagrams for example).
I would prefer to see a road map for at least a year ahead and a possibility to vote for a feature in a new version of PL/SQL Developer. Right now people don't know what they can expect in a new version of PL/SQL Developer outside of bug fixes. Does anybody here but Marcus know what to expect after PL/SQL Developer 7.1?

I aggree that core oracle server functionalities must be supported first before any other nice to have features.
But still PL/SQL-developer is my only choice. I never met a tool which is so effective working with oracle server.

Greetings
Karl

I just renewed my license for the 2nd time and I have never ever regretted doing so. Right now I'm eagerly awaiting the beta's to see what new features are in there.
