Remove search bar permanently from the bottom

Hi guys

How do I remove the search bar permanently from the bottom of the window? Unchecking "Search bar" from the edit menu, will remove the search bar only for that session. If I close and reopen PL/SQL Developer, the search bar is back again.

Anish

I have a laptop with a small screen. Removing the search bar, allows the output window to display more rows. I guess "Ctl + F" can do the job if I have to find anything.

Ah, saving screen real estate makes sense. Have you edited the toolbar icons down to a single row?

I was about to add that Control-F can't highlight all occurrences of a pattern, but I've just realised it can

Hi Aniship - don't forget about the Ctrl/F11 option to go full screen just on the code editor and navigator - maximum screen real estate! Press Ctrl/F11 again to exit full screen mode.
