Reload on startup

Is there a way to prevent PL/SQL Developer from reloading previously edited programm units at startup? Especially when connecting to a database at a (remote) clients location, it is very annoying when I have to wait for large packages to reload, only to close them right away because I don't need them. Also, when connecting to another database then the previous session, it tries to reload code that is not even there.

Michael,

Under tools/preferences/user interface do you have the option 'Autosave Desktop' checked? If so, then uncheck it. That should do the trick.

I thought that option was for saving the lay-out of the desktop, i.e. position and size of windows. Anyway, I will try it out with that option deselected. Thanx for the hint.

At first it was confusing to me as well. If you want to save the desktop layout use the 'Window/Save Layout' menu item.
