regular expressions

It seems than the replacement text currently does not support regular expressions. Am I right?
Is on the list of enhancement requests?
Also, I've searched through the help and haven't found the regexp syntax descrition
What's the syntax used in PL/SQL Developer?

I would just like to add my voice to the request for regular expression syntax in the replace text. This would compensate greatly for the lack of ability to edit macros. i.e. macros only marginally more powerful than the current search and replace facility for doing a search and replace type job.
