The problems lies in an Microsoft API. If you uncheck the "show keyname on connector" the problem should go away.

btw: So you're saying you can really knock out Windows easily from a user mode DLL?

Yep,

But it's only on certian versions of windows.

I personally think it's a stack overflow in their method.

Quick/ER v1.2 trial Version
PL/SQL Developer -Version 6.0.4.906 (MBCS)
Windows 2000 version 5.0 (build 2195) Service Pack 4

All other plug-in's removed.

1) Can not get the "Notes" to work. When I click on the Note's element. The cursor changes to display the Notes Image but can not insert any notes.

2) If I have attempted to use the "Notes" ,then when closing the Quick/ER, I get a "Abnormal Program Termination" message and PL/SQL is closed down.

I haven't been able to reproduce this yet on XP or NT2003. I'll see if I can install 2K and find this bug.

We are seeing this same behavior with notes. We are also running Windows 2000

Installed your 1.2 build 2 and it fixed the notes problem on Win2k

Two things would be nice. One is a readme with what changes were made in this build and also an indication of which build is installed in the 'About' box - still just says 1.2 (1.2.2?)

Will attributes and member functions/procedures on object types be supported by QuickER in a future release ?
