Question for Softema on wList plugin

I like the idea of this plugin, but I don't seem to be able to make it work.

- does it relie on long window names in the list (Program, SQL, etc), or does it know about the short forms (P, S, etc)?

- how do I reorder the entries of the list after that option has been checked?

- does the changing of color for new windows happen at once, or do I have to do something? My list comes up with the standard colors and there is no right click menu entry.

I am using PLSD 6.0.5.926 on Windows XP Pro.

Thank you.

Additional info for the third item. If you have several windows and close one, the bottom item reverts back to the standard color. It stays that way until I move my mouse over the list. It would be nice if that didn't happen.

Scott - to reorder the entries, just click and drag the entry to where you want it to be. It works for me anyway.

Mike,
Thank you, but it doesn't work at all (no drag and drop - which I really want, no colors). I can go to Tools / Config Plug-ins and wList shows up and I can even start its config and see what colors I should see and see that resizing and reordering are enabled.

But it doesn't work for me.

Bummer. I really like the drag and drop idea too, so I'm glad it works for me.

Have you tried temporarily disabling all of your other plug-ins to see if one is interfering? That happened to me once before so I usually try that if something doesn't work. Odds are probably low, but it might be worth a try. I have the same version of PL/SQL Developer as you and I use the short names also (p, s etc.). I have windows 2000 so that's one difference.

Anyway, hopefully Softema can get it working.

Good idea, but disabling all but wList and restarting PLSD did not make it work. O well, maybe version 7 has some sort of help in this area.
